【摘要】 文章简要介绍了新型超高分子量聚乙烯 (简称UHMW -PE)纤维的性能及其在中国航天器回收系统中的应用现状 ,并重点介绍了针对这种新型材料产品PE绳的测试方法。

【Abstract】 This paper introduces the characteristics of Ultra High Molecular Weight Polyethylene Fiber (UHMW-PE) and its application in the recovery system of spacecraft now in China briefly, and the testing methods for mechanical properties of Ultra High Molecular Weight Polyethylene ropes in detail.
