【Abstract】 Video image is vivid description to objective things and the most important information carrier for (mankind). At present, video surveillance systems have already been applied extensively to our lives, and have (become) the indispensable important part in the technological system of safe precaution. In this paper, key technologies such as the choice of encoding/decoding criterions, the key technologies of transmission layer protocol, display manners and so on in the course of achievement are analyzed.
