【Abstract】 Based on the analysis of the current concepts it is found that "Supply Chain" involves both "supply" and "demand",and "demand chain" involves both "demand" and "supply" . The literal meanings of the above two concepts create a wrong impression that "supply chain" involves only "supply" while "demand chain" involves only "demand" "supply/demand chain" can avoid such misunderstanding.
