乳液插层共聚合成聚(苯乙烯-丙烯酸丁酯)/有机蒙脱土纳米复合材料
Emulsion copolymerized styrene and butyl-crylate / organic-montmorillonite nanocomposites
【摘要】 采用乳液插层聚合法合成聚(苯乙烯-丙烯酸丁酯 ) /有机蒙脱土纳米复合材料,研究了不同有机蒙脱土用量及其性能和反应条件对乳液共聚反应速率、单体转化率的影响,并提出一个乳液插层聚合法的简单模型。结果表明,有机蒙脱土的层间距由 1. 55nm增大到 4 .03nm,有机蒙脱土均匀地分散在苯乙烯-丙烯酸丁酯共聚物中,并且蒙脱土提高了共聚物的热稳定性,随着有机蒙脱土用量的增大,聚合物的转化率先增大,后变小。
【Abstract】 Styrene and butyl-acrylate copolymer / organic-montmorillonite nanocomposite (OMMT) was synthesized by emulsion copolymerization process. XRD analysis showed that molecular chains of the polymer were intercalated into the galleries of MMT,and the pallets of OMMT were well dispersed in the polymer matrix. The effects of reaction conditions on the conversion was studied and a model for emulsion-intercalated copolymerization was proposed.
