【Abstract】 The MspⅠpolymorphisms characteristics of growth hormone gene locus was analyzed by PCR-RFLP in two Chinese pig breeds and two foreign pig breeds. The results showed that there were 8 band-types. Six band-types were distinguished in Yorkshire, seven band-types were distinguished in Landrace, and only four band-types were distinguished in Taihu pig and Neijiang pig breeds.
