【Abstract】 Evaporation is a process consuming a great amount of energy. It can save a lot of energy by using multi- effect evaporation system. The authors calculate and analysis the energy consumption of the double-effect evaporator in Shanghai Soap Company when the glycerin was evaporated. Its economics is evaluated.
