【Abstract】 In this paper, a brief description of the characteristics of natural gems, synthetic materials and chemical products has been given. And the keystone is to make a summary of the character and identification methods for the artificial materials which include nonmetal glass, macromolecule plastics and improved gems of artificial crystals. By the end, the application of chemical products is expatiated on how to identify gems and to improve gem’s performance.更多还原
