开平碉楼——中西文化交融之经典作
The watchtowers in Kaiping, a classic example of integration of western culture and Chinese culture
【摘要】 开平是著名的碉楼之乡。碉楼是中西文化交融之经典作,堪称“世界一绝”,具有十分重要的历史文化价值,已向联合国科教文组织申报“世界文化遗产”。
【Abstract】 Kaiping is known as the hometown of watchtowers". The watchtowers in Kaiping, a classic example of integration of western culture and Chinese cultureDiao, is unique in the world for its historical and cultural value. An application is now being prepared to the UNESCO for recognition as a world cultural heritage.
