【Abstract】 This paper introduces firstly the basic concept and construction of the metropolitan area optical network. And then the authors summarize the actual construction of metropolitan area optical network in Zhejiang province. On the base of that, the present paper briefly discusses the evolution that metropolitan area optical network develops form the ring topology networks to the mesh networks. Finally, some suggestions are given about the principle of the planning and designing of metropolitan area optical network.更多还原
