【Abstract】 This paper describes the significance of multicast in Automatically Switched Optical Network. It analyses the GMPLS protocols of signaling and routing for ASON multicast, and brings forward an approach to implement ASON multicast by extending current technologies, including signaling procedure and routing algorithm.
