折流式沉淀池流态模拟

【摘要】 利用k-ε两方程湍流模型,借助大型计算流体力学软件FLUENT,对回流比为零和75%情况下折流式沉淀池内流态进行了数值模拟,发现均存在严重的短流和较大的死区。将池型改成尺寸相同的平流式沉淀池后重新进行计算,发现改型后的流态较为合理,短流和死区均较小。

【Abstract】 Based on k-ε two equation turbulent model, FLUENT, a large computer fluid mechanics software, was used to numerically simulate the flow pattern in baffled sedimentation tank with return ratio of zero and 75%, the serious short-circuiting current and bigger dead zone were observed. Recalculation was made after modifying the tank configuration to horizontal type tank with the same size, a more reasonable flow pattern and smaller short-circuiting current and dead zone were found in the modified tank.
