【Abstract】 In recent years, Cell Production System(CPS) had gradually replaced Computer Integrated Manufacturing System(CIMS)for several reasons: CPS could not only fully exert the workers’ flexibility but also reduce the cost and quickly realize the produce of changing species and quantities. Basing on the analysis about the limitations of CIMS, this paper mainly takes the Japanese enterprises to discuss the CPS’s definition and type and to demonstrate its advantages and disadvantages as well as its usage conditions.更多还原
