添加剂对聚氯乙烯热降解性能的影响
EFFECTS OF ADDITIVES ON THERMAL DEGRADATION OF POLY(VINYL CHLORIDE)
【摘要】 研究了硫酸铵和氧化钴对聚氯乙烯(PVC)热降解和热氧化降解过程的影响。氧化钴基本消除了PVC热降解时自诱导脱氯化氢反应特征,氧化性地加速了热降解过程进行。硫酸铵轻微加速了初始热降解反应,由于生成氯化铵而消除了氯化氢释放,实质性改变了PVC氯化氢释放规律,并推迟了PVC主体热降解的进行。
【Abstract】 Thermal degradation of poly(vinyl chloride) in the presence of the additive cobaltous oxide (CoO) or ammonium sulfate ((NH4)2SO4) was studied with isothermal treatment, electric conductance measurement, thermogravimetry and differential scanning calorimetry. The results show that CoO modifies elimination of hydrogen chloride (HCl) by removing auto-acceleration, and offers an extra heat of degradation, and increases the maximum rate of mass loss. Whereas (NH4)2SO4 catalytically produces HCl at the initial thermal degradation, and retards scission of main chain. This is substantially different from that of virgin PVC, which is due to formation of ammonium chloride.
