【Abstract】 Compared with traditional teaching methods, case studies coul d not only motivate students, but also develop their abilities to analyse, coopera te and study on their own. However, as a new mode applied in business English te aching, it still has some problems in designing cases, improving teachers’ qual ities and fostering students’ abilities.
