【Abstract】 As a reformer, Wang An-shi’s qualities are main subject precondition to the grand reform. Reformer’s qualities, especially his political ideology and morality are directly related to success or failure of the reform. Wang An-shi’s personality charm was best presented in two aspects. First, the sense of social responsibility and ambition to enrich the nation are his political ideology; second, what Wang An-shi pursued was not the personal status and fame, but a devotion to his country.
