ZnO晶须改性石墨纤维/双酚A二氰酸酯复合材料
M40J/BADCy COMPOSITES MODIFIED BY ZnO WHISKER
【摘要】 为改善石墨纤维/双酚A二氰酸酯(M40J/BADCy)复合材料的层间剪切强度, 采用立体四针状ZnO晶须对M40J/BADCy复合材料进行增强。红外光谱及凝胶实验研究表明, ZnO晶须对BADCy的固化反应有催化作用, 使BADCy/E51树脂体系的后固化温度由200℃降为180℃。力学性能测试表明, 未处理的ZnO晶须因与BADCy基体粘结不好, 仅使M40J/BADCy复合材料的弯曲模量有所提高。经KH560 处理的ZnO 晶须对M40J/BADCy复合材料的层间剪切强度提高明显, ZnO晶须含量为10%时, 增强效果最佳, 使M40J/BADCy复合材料的层间剪切强度由原来的77 6 MPa 提高到91 2 MPa, 弯曲模量由原来的178 9 GPa 提高到207 4GPa, 而弯曲强度变化不大。SEM研究表明, 立体结构的晶须能很好地分散于M40J/BADCy复合材料层间, 依靠晶须的层间“钉扎”提高复合材料的层间剪切强度。
【Abstract】 ZnO whisker, which possesses stereoscopic structure, was introduced into M40J/bisphenol-A dicyanate (BADCy) composite to improve its ILSS. The reaction mechanisms of BADCy blend with epoxy resin E51 and ZnO whisker were studied by FTIR spectroscopy. It was found that ZnO whisker serves as a catalyst of polycyclotrimerize reaction of BADCy, and post-cure temperature of BADCy/E51 blend system was descended from 200℃ to 180℃. The results indicated that when 10% ZnO whisker treated by KH560 is introduced, the ILSS and flexural modulus of M40J/BADCy composite could improve from 77.6MPa and 178.9GPa to 91.2MPa and 207.4GPa respectively, while with the untreated ZnO whisker they are improved only slightly. The SEM analysis of fracture surfaces of broken specimens indicates that the ILSS and flexural modulus of M40J/BADCy composite were improved by means of the “nail” of ZnO whisker in the laminar of M40J/BADCy composite.
