【Abstract】 A key city is the core of regional development, and a political, economic and cultural center in the region. Particularly it is a knowledge center. So a key city plays a remarkable role of centralization and promotion in its hinterland. The key cities, Fuzhou, Xiamen and Quanzhou, are the important backing of the regional economic development on the west side of the Straits. They must take the development of knowledge economy center as the key point, and well handle the construction of industrial center ( hard center ) and knowledge center ( soft center ), so as to play a better role in example promotion, innovative demonstration and functional service.更多还原
