【Abstract】 Streptococcus suis is an important pathogen of zoonosis. Streptococcus suis causesmeningitis, endocarditis, arthritis, pneumonia and septicaemia in pigs, and it can also infect humanbeings. There are currently 35 serotypes of Streptococcus suis, among which type 2 is the mostpopular and pathogenic.
