【Abstract】 Through analyzing ZHANG Yu-zhao’s left poems and related articles, this paper concludes that no matter from the numbers of the poems or from their thought depth, ZHANG is qualified to be called as a patriotic poet. This paper claims that the evaluation of a poet should be carried out from his or her social relation and inward reflections. It points out that ZHANG’s idea of reforming old systems, learning from the West to make powerful us China is more than twenty years earlier than KANG You- wei’s Political Reform.更多还原
