【Abstract】 The defects existed in conventional tube-shell heat exchanger with segmental baffle is pointed out, the structural characteristics, enhanced heat transfer principles, applicable fields and research status of enhanced heat transfer technology in longitudinal flow, plug flow and shooting flow heat exchanger are analyzed and summarized.
