【Abstract】 MAO Ze-dong set forth many glittering viewpoints on the relationship between commodity economy and socialism: the destiny and comodity production will be, in the final analysis, linked closely with the level of social productive forces; socialist commodity production needs to be vigorously developed in a planned way; for us, a part of means of production are still commodities ; we should reform the system of planned economy and expand the power of local authorities and enterprises; we should distinguish between socialist commodity production and capitalist production; the law of value is a great school; and all enterprises must use the law of value as a tool of economic accounting, etc..
