【Abstract】 With the analysis of premature convergence of genetic algorithm, a new selection strategy is proposed.This strategy adopted the dual populationgenetic algorithm (DPGA), which makes the population move based on golden division role to exploit in new space successively.In order to examine the effectiveness of the dual population genetic algorithm (DPGA), it is applied into the optimal design for fuzzy logical controller.
