聚β-羟基丁酸PHB/蒙脱土纳米复合材料的结构与力学性能
Structure and Properties of Poly(3-hydroxybutyrate-co-3-hydroxyvalerate) (PHB)/OMMT Nanocomposites
【摘要】 用溶液复合法成功地制备了插层型PHB/蒙脱土纳米复合材料.采用X射线衍射(XRD)和透射电子显微镜(TEM)研究了复合材料的结构,发现硅酸盐片层间距从1.8 nm升至2.4 nm左右.同时研究了复合材料的结晶,熔融,和力学性能,发现有机蒙脱土的加入,可以加快PHB的结晶速度,降低熔融温度,提高了材料的力学性能,有机蒙脱土含量在3%时,其综合性能最佳.
【Abstract】 Poly(3-hydroxybutyrate) (PHB)/OMMT nanocomposites were prepared by mixing of PHB and organically modified montmorillonite (OMMT) as a type of layered OMMTs with chloroform. OMMT was prepared by surface treatment of montmorillonite (MMT) with hexadecyl-trimethylamine bromide. XRD and TEM results indicated that the PHB chains intercalated OMMT layers and the intercalated nanocomposites were obtained. The thermal and dynamic viscoelastic properties of nanocomposites were investigated using a differential DSC, TGA and DMA. It is found that the OMMT in the nanocomposites accelerate the crystallization of PHB as the effect of nuclii and decrease its melting temperature. The glass transition temperatures of the PHB/OMMT are higher than that of the original PHB. Tensile properties measurements of PHB/OMMT hybrids indicate that the addition of 3wt% of OMMT increases the tensile strength of 35.6 MPa, which is 32% higher than that of the original PHB.
