晶格中电子的有效质量讨论
The Discuss for Effective Mass of Crystal Electron
【摘要】 对一般的输运过程问题把电子运动近似当作经典粒子来处理.给出了电子准经典运动的两个基本关系式.定义了有效质量张量,说明它是一个二阶对称张量,讨论了有效质量的物理意义.计算了一维弱周期场情况下的有效质量,有效质量可以是正值,也可以是负值,与电子状态及能带结构有关,在能带极值附近电子可看成具有有效质量的自由电子.
【Abstract】 For ordinary transport process , the crystal electron is approximated to quasi - classical particle. The two basic formulas of electron quasi motion are given. The effective - mass tensor is defined and its second - rank symmetry tensor and physical significant are illustrated. The effective - mass of one dimensional weak periodic potential is calculated. The effective mass may be positive or negative , it relates to the state of electron and the energy band structure . The state of electron near by extreme value of the energy band are treated to free electron of effective - mass.
