碱性醇类燃料电池新型催化剂的研究
Studies on novel catalysts for direct alcohol alkaline fuel cells
【摘要】 用交替微波加热法快速制备CeO2/C复合材料,进而制备Pt-CeO2/C。用电化学方法研究了甲醇、乙醇、甘油和乙二醇在KOH溶液中在Pt/C或Pt-CeO2/C电极上的电化学氧化性能。结果显示负载在碳粉上的Pt和Pt-CeO2催化剂对四种醇的电化学氧化具有较高的活性。而Pt-CeO2/C催化剂与Pt/C催化剂相比表现了更好的活性和更强的抗毒化能力。
【Abstract】 CeO2/Ccomposites were prepared by intermittent microwave heating (IMH) method and then were used as supportto make Pt-CeO2/C catalysts. The oxidation properties of methanol,ethanol,glycerol and ethylene glycol on Pt/C or Pt-CeO2/Celectrodes were measured by electrochemical techniques. The results show that both Pt/C and Pt-CeO2/C electrodes are activefor the oxidation of all alcohols. However, the addition of CeO2 makes Pt-CeO2/C electrode more active. The facts indicatethat Pt-CeO2/C catalysts are better for resisting the poisoning.
