WiMAX Technology and Its Application
【摘要】 介绍了WiMAX协议的历史及优势,描述了其物理层和MAC层,把它与3G,Wi-Fi及MBWA进行了比较,阐述了WiMAX和Wi-Fi及MBWA的一种组网模式,叙述了WiMAX在未来无线宽带网络中的定位及在手机电视中的应用。
【Abstract】 This paper discussed the history and advantage of WiMAX standard, and presented the key technologies in the physical layer and MAC layer for WiMAX standards. According to the comparison of WiMAX, 3G, Wi-Fi and MBWA systems, there is a mode for WiMAX to evolve into a worldwide network. The application of WiMAX is depictured in the end.
