【Abstract】 The wavelength division multiplexing (WDM) technique together with optic packet switching is used to buildup optic packet metropolitan area network ( MAN). Based on 10Gbit Ethernet technique, the network stationed at the place of the users and the supporting network for the platform of integrated services in Cable Digital TV are built up. Thus, the next generation of Cable Digital TV transport network is set up economically and efficiently, overcoming the weakness of current CATV in lacking of strong interactivity while bringing the strong point of Cable Digital TV television in providing high quality video programs into full play. The carrying of voice and data services is also discussed.更多还原
