【Abstract】 City is a kind of human-geo relationship system.Digital city is a projection of real world in information space.Urban GIS is the core of digital city. This paper discusses some basic problems such as data acquisition, 3D data storage and handling, 3D spatial snalysis, etc in 3D GIS and points out that the function of 3D GIS applies in city sight modeling.
