【Abstract】 High-speed marine diesel engine has various applications. This paper discusses the following topics: different vessels and crafts application requirements for marine diesel engine and relationship between power rating and crafts power selection; application between crafts running features and diesel engine features and relationship between power types and application of overseas high-speed marine diesel engines.
