【Abstract】 Based on the massive literatures and the former research done by our laboratory, negative-working thermal plate was designed and worked out. The radiation sensitive layer is comprised of (1) a novolac resin,(2) a resole resin, (3) a latent braised acid, and (4 ) an infrared light absorber. This plate requires a preheat step after imaging.
