【Abstract】 It’s necessary to preprocess a sampled Ren Min Bi (RMB) image such as segmentation, removing noises and adjusting the incline angle before it is recognized. How many degrees the inclined image should be adjusted is a key problem. A method at first utilizing the Sobel operator to pick-up the edge of an incline RMB image and then using Hough transform to calculate its angle is proposed in this paper.
