添加燃烧合成的晶种对无压烧结Y α-SiAlON陶瓷的影响
Effect of Seed Addition with Combustion Synthesized Powder on Pressureless Sintering of Y α-SiAlON
【摘要】 利用燃烧合成技术成功制备出单相Yα-SiAlON粉体,酸洗除去玻璃相后以无水乙醇为介质进行超声分散。将分散后的粉体作为晶种,按照一定比例添加到原料粉末中,通过无压烧结得到致密的Yα-SiAlON陶瓷,研究了添加晶种对烧结产物的相组成和微观形貌的影响。实验结果表明,添加晶种有利于减少中间产物的生成,得到单相Yα-SiAlON,同时可以促进柱状晶的发育。
【Abstract】 Single phase Y α-SiAlON powder was fabricated by combustion synthesis. The as-synthesized powder was dispersed by ultrasonic in alcohol after being treated with acid. Then the powder was added as seed into the matrix for pressureless sintering of Y α-SiAlON ceramics and the effects of seed addition on phase composition and microstructure of the sintered samples were studied. The experimental results show that seed addition is beneficial to the formation of single Y α-SiAlON by eliminating intermediate phases and can improve the development of rod-like crystalline grains.
