感应加热聚晶金刚石热损伤机理的研究
Study on mechanism of thermal damage on PCD compacts induced by induction heating
【摘要】 为了研究聚晶金刚石(PCD)在空气中的氧化方式,以及感应加热造成热损伤的形式和机理,分析了其在空气中的DTA和TG曲线,并对不同加热条件下的试件进行了XRD检测和SEM形貌观察.结果表明:PCD受热时,主要是金刚石和金属钴与氧气发生放热反应;PCD热损伤的形式有4种:金刚石表面的微裂纹、金刚石表面的“皱纹”、球状凸起、微孔洞;PCD热损伤机理为:受热时,金刚石氧化成CO和CO2逸掉,热应力致使金刚石表面产生微裂纹和皱纹;随着金刚石的减少,钴氧化物的生成量渐增,导致凸起和微孔洞的形成.
【Abstract】 In order to research the oxidized-manner of Polycrystalline Diamond(PCD),and the mechanism and form of thermal damages on PCD induced by induction heating in air,this paper analyzes the curves of DTA and TG in Air,and also observes the samples heated on different conditions by the way of XRD and SEM.The conclusion is reached as follows: ①when PCD is heated,the reaction between the diamond and the metal Cobalt with the Oxygen are mostly exothermatic;②the thermal damage on PCD have four kinks of forms: a) the microcrack on the diamond surface;b) the micro wrinkle on the diamond surface;c) the ball-like bulge;d) the micro hole;③the mechanism of thermal damage on PCD is as follows: the diamond is oxidized into CO and CO2 which disappeared when heating,thermal stress causes the microcrack and the micro wrinkle on diamond surface;the Cobalt Oxide is produced increasingly with diamond decreasing,that results in the formation of the bulge and the micro hole.
