【Abstract】 IUD has been one of the major contraception methods since 1920s.With the improvement of its material and shape,the side effects are greatly reduced while the efficiency of IUD is obviously enhanced.The future IUD should be endowed with more function than traditional ones.For example,antibacterial metal ions like Zn²⁺and Ag⁺,which have a broad spectrum of antimicrobial function,would be added.And the controlled releasing system should be designed as well.Therefore,this kind of IUD would be safe,economical and chronically antibacterial.This paper mainly discusses the antibacterial IUD.更多还原
