三种不同阳极上活性艳红X-3B的光电降解
Photoelectrochemical Degradation of Reactive Brilliant Red X-3B on Three Different Anodes
【摘要】 分别以TiO2/Ti,SnxSb1xO2/Ti和RuxPd1xO2/Ti为阳极,钛网为阴极,NaCl为电解质,研究了活性艳红X3B的光化学降解、电化学降解以及光电协同降解行为.实验表明,经光电协同降解60min后,三种电极体系中活性艳红X3B的脱色率都超过了97%,三种电极上都存在显著的光电协同效应,即导体阳极与半导体阳极体系表现出相似的光电协同效应.SnxSb1xO2/Ti阳极体系先电解后光照和先光照后电解对比实验结果表明,电解生成的中间产物在光照3min后使染料脱色率由17%迅速提高到75%,而先光照后电解则无此现象发生,这说明电解中间产物经紫外光激发后对染料脱色有显著作用.
【Abstract】 Photochemical, electrochemical and photoelectrochemical degradation of Reactive Brilliant Red X-3B were studied by using TiO2/Ti, SnxSb 1-x O2/Ti and RuxPd 1-x O2/Ti as anodes, respectively. The results showed that the decoloration over the three anodes in the photoelectrochemical process could be more than 97% within 60 min. The photoelectric synergic effect was observed over all the three anodes including semiconductor anode of TiO2/Ti and conductor anodes of SnxSb 1-x O2/Ti and RuxPd 1-x O2/Ti. Two different processes were performed using SnxSb 1-x O2/Ti as anode in NaCl solution. In an EP process the system is first electrochemically treated for 20 min followed by photochemical treatment for 20 min, while in a PE process the turn of electrochemical and photochemical treatment was reversed. It was found that the intermediate produced by electrochemical treatment in the EP process exhibited significant activity in the following photochemical treatment, the decoloration rate increased from 17% to 75% after illumination for 3 min. No such increase in the decoloration rate was observed in the PE process. In another independent photochemical process, photodecoloration is carried out directly using NaClO as an additive and the light irradiation for this system caused similar sudden increase in decoloration rate as in the EP process. These facts suggested that in the EP process, HOCl and ClO-generated from the hydrolyzation of Cl2 by electrolysis was immediately photolyzed to HO·, O-and Cl·, which could decolorize the X-3B dye very efficiently.
