基于IEEE802.11b PCF模式的VoIP语音系统的容量分析
Capacity estimation of VoIP system based on IEEE 802.11b WLAN Under PCF mode
【摘要】 以G.711语音编码方式为例分析了PCF模式下IEEE 802.11b VoIP语音系统的容量以及静音抑制技术对增加系统容量的作用。在理论分析的基础上,建立了系统仿真模型,并对理论分析进行了验证。仿真结果表明,增加语音数据包的采样间隔可以提高VoIP语音系统的容量,静音抑制技术可以用来进一步提高系统容量。分析方法和结论对其他语音编码方式以及对基于IEEE 802.11 a和IEEE 802.11g标准的无线局域网VoIP语音系统具有同样的参考作用。
【Abstract】 The system capacities of the G.711 VoIP system based on IEEE 802.11b WLAN under PCF mode and the effect of voice suppression to increase the system capacity are analyzed. Based on the theoretical analysis, the system simulation model is built to validate the analysis. The simulation results show that enlarging the sampling interval of the voIP packet can increase the system capacity of the VoIP system;moreover, the silence suppression technique can be used to increase the system capacity largely. The methods and conclusion in this paper can also be applyied to the VoIP system based on IEEE 802.11a and IEEE 802.11g standard and other voice coding algorithms.
