【Abstract】 In the paper, the background to research a standard-type of truck roll-on/roll-off ship navigating in upper Yangtze river and San Gorge Reservoir and the determination of both loads for calculating general longitudinal strength and the ratios of dimensions L/D and B/D are briefly presented, the effect of double bottom and general arrangement on the general longitudinal strength is analyzed. Finally, the requirement of general longitudinal strength is verified through three standardized net scantling ships.更多还原
