【Abstract】 The field of Comparative Education has evolved in significant ways during the last few decades.The field has different characteristics in differ ent parts of the world,shaped by the discourses of its participants and by cont extual factors including language and culture.This paper focuses on the roles of the World Council of Comparative Education Societies(WCCES) and some of its 33 members.It comments on the mode of operation of the WCCES,on some of the tensions,and on shifts over time.更多还原
