【Abstract】 Recognition of accrediting organizations is an effective mechanism to control poor practice and ensure quality of accreditation in the accrediting system in USA. The paper briefly reviews the history of the recognition of accrediting organizations by the government and the professional higher education in USA, then introduces the USDE’s requirements for the recognition and compares them with the ones of CHEA’s, analyzes the reasons why they are similar and different.更多还原
