【Abstract】 Tetrahymena is one of the most commonly studied protozoan model organism for toxicology and ecotoxicology.In this paper,we summarized the recent advances and present conditions of the investigations performed with Tetrahymena in this field.Furthermore,in consideration of the persistent toxic substances(PTS) that have caused severe environmental pressure,we put forward the assumption of using Tetrahymena as a model organism in the corresponding ecotoxicological studies and suggested the feasible methods.更多还原
