基于动态组播代理的移动组播协议
A Mobile Multicast Protocol Based on Dynamic Multicast Agent
【摘要】 IETF移动IP工作组在移动IP协议中建议了支持主机移动的两种基本的组播机制:双向隧道MIP-BT和远程加入MIP-RS,它们具有互补的优缺点.文中汲取了IETF两种基本方法的优点,提出了一种新的基于动态组播代理的移动组播协议,该协议寻求最短转发路径和减少重建组播树频率之间的平衡点,从而达到最有效地利用网络资源的目的.仿真结果表明该方法具有良好的综合性能,是一种新的IPv6环境下高效的移动组播算法.
【Abstract】 IETF mobile IP working group has proposed two basic multicast mechanisms for mobile host in mobile IP protocol: bi-directional tunnel(MIP-BT) and remote subscription(MIP-RS),which have complementary advantages and shortcomings.In this paper,the authors assimilate the advantages of these two proposals,and present a new mobile multicast protocol based on the dynamic multicast(agent.) It is a compromise between shortest forwarding path and reducing the frequency of rebuilding multicast tree,thus it achieves its goal for using network resources more effectively.The simulation result shows that the proposal has a good integrated performance.It is a new efficient mobile multicast arithmetic in IPv6 environment.
