【Abstract】 The contents conerning moxibustion in Prescriptions for Universal Relief is very distinctive.Xu shu-wei,the author of this book, showed the great esteem for zhang zhongjing,so he held that moxibustion was applicable to Yin syndrome,Yin toxin syndrome and Yang deficiency syndrome.He was expert in using some key acupoints such as Guanyuan,Qihai,Shenshu to warm the kidney and strengthen Yang.He put forward that there were twelve acupoints suitable to the treament of apoplexy.He created a new moxibustion method,indirect moxibustion with Fructus Crotonis and Rhizoma Coptidis,to cure retention of excessive pathogen in chest.The book reflects the idea that moxibustion and medicine are equally attached importance.All the expositions in it are detailed and useful.So they are worth further studying.更多还原
