【Abstract】 Insurance of the bill of landing is one of the carriers’ legal obligations. When there exists freight forwarding, however, forwarding agents can also issue B/L. On such occasions, confusion will probably occur between the forwarding B/L and the B/L issued by the actual carriers during circulation.
