【Abstract】 The diseases and pests have caused serious damage to agricultural production and crop quality. The breeding program through the application of the varieties with resistance to diseases and pests is the most economic and efficient paths in controlling diseases and pests. The concept and classification of crop resistance to diseases and pests and the breeding ways including crossing breeding and modern biotechnology application were introduced.
