【Abstract】 The self repair mechanism of self repair polymer materials with microcapsule was discussed. The methods of manufacturing microcapsules, especially preparation of microcapsules with urea/formaldehyde resins by in situ polymerization, were explained. The structures and properties of microcapsule at the request of self repair polymer materials were analyzed and the achievements in this field were reviewed. Advantages and disadvantages as well as important work to be done were pointed out.更多还原
