【Abstract】 Titanium and its alloys are mainly used for the advanced equipments of aircraft, aerospace and marine applications due to high specific strength, superior corrossion resistance and good biocompatibility etc. Titanium pigment is an important raw material in chemistry industry. Titanium pigment, electric welding bar and titanium sponge are made from raw materials which are rich in titanium such as synthetic rutile and titanium slag etc. Titanium resources are very abundant in China, coming out in front and China has dominant position in titanium resources. The geographical distribution and production processes from titanium crude ores to titanium sponge were summarized and also compared with foreign technologies. The paper briefly introduces the capacity, production status and demand of ilmenite concentrates and raw materials which are rich in titanium in China.更多还原
