【Abstract】 The basic configuration of sub-surface flow wetland was shown in this paper, its function theory by soil, wetland plant and microbes were also recited. The characteristics and function mechanism were illustrated through the elimination of pollutants such as BOD5 、SS、NH3-N、P、 heavy metals and microbes.
