【Abstract】 This paper introdtces the knitting principle and technology of a whole piece cardigan including casting-on, bottom, sleeveopening rib, body piece, sleeve piece, narrowing of built-up shoulder and collar opening, and emphasizes on introduction of removal ofempty needle positions between body piece and sleeve piece knitted on V-type and four-needle-bed flat knitting machines. In addition,the application of new flat knitting technology in ths aspect is also introduced, and the actual knitting process for a whole piececardigan is illustrated.更多还原
