【Abstract】 The gene, p16 MTS1 which encoding the cyclin dependent kinase inhibitor is an important tumor suppressor gene that inactivated during the development of many types of cancers. P16 plays an important role in cell cycle control. The structure of p16 gene, the biological effects of p16 protein (cyclin dependent kinase inhibitor) and the role of p16 mutation in the tumorigengesis of hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) are summarized.更多还原
