浅谈英汉文化对数字诠释的异同
On the Cultural Differences of Numbers
【摘要】 数字作为人们日常言语交际中不可或缺的组成部分,除了其实际表达的数理意义之外,其蕴涵的文化涵义常被忽略。文章就1～9这几个数字在中西方不同文化背景下所承载的不同涵义进行初步探讨,以揭示同一数字在不同历史文化背景下的异同。
【Abstract】 Number is an indispensable part of human communication.Its mainly mentioned for anything but its hidden cultural meaning.In this paper,9 numbers are discussed culturally in both Chinese and western cultures,the meanings of which in different cultures are disclosed.
